I have decided after this last insertion of a different prosthesis, which was very painful and uncomfortable to learn esophageal speech on my own. This will be a challenge I live alone, so I was planning on maybe starting to read out loud. Any suggestions?

      Hi Lucie,

Thank you for reaching out to us! There are several support groups and speech pathologists all over the US that can provide support and education. Would you send me your city and state so that I might find the closest resources near you? I can then send you their information for contacting.

      Have a wonderful day!
